A light breakfast snack with Santa and a few spins on an awesome, iconic merry-go-round.

That sounds like a dream day if you're a kid, right? Well, you are invited to downtown Missoula where that's what will be happening this Sunday morning, December 17

Sorry, there are no reindeer rides, but our friends at A Carousel for Missoula still have lots of Christmas fun in store. The Carousel is hosting Santa's Breakfast from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. It features carousel rides, light breakfast snacks and visits with Santa Clause, all for the holly jolly price of only $5 per person over the age of 5. Children 4 and under are free.

A FREE CHRISTMAS DAY TREAT (MAYBE)

While we would like to tell you that this a go for sure, we'd rather be nice than naughty and let you know that the Carousel if offering free rides on Christmas day from 11:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m., contingent on getting enough volunteers to help out. We suggest staying in touch with them via email or checking the Events tab on their website for updates.

A Carousel for Missoula could always use for more volunteers, not only for the Christmas day free rides, but activities they have going on during many parts of the year. Multiple opportunities include:

Pony washing and general cleaning during our annual January shutdown period

Cleaning and maintaining Dragon Hollow Play Area during our annual spring clean up day

Carousel operation during Free Ride days such as Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Learning to carve by joining our Ponykeepers during their weekly carving sessions Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm

Assisting with additional upkeep and improvements as needed.
