And the winner is...YOU! When you get together with fun-loving movie buffs and hope your favorite picks jive with the actual winners.

Lots of film fans around Missoula and elsewhere will be cheering for University of Montana graduate Lily Gladstone, Academy Award nominee (and odds-on favorite to win) for best actress for her role in "Killers of the Flower Moon." A beautiful reflection of Lily's days at UM is chronicled courtesy of UM News Service here.

OSCAR WATCH PARTY FUN AT THE LIBRARY

Yep, it's lights, camera, action at our very own Missoula Public Library's Oscar Watch Party this Sunday night, March 10. Will "Oppenheimer" win them all? Will the Academy be a doll and give the nod to "Barbie" for at least one of its 8 nominations (most likely best song)? And then, of course, there's Montana's own Lily, who prognosticators think is a slight favorite over Emma Stone for her role in "Poor Things."

Regardless of who you're cheering for, there's no better place to watch this year's 96th Academy Awards than at the library. Enjoy food and beverages and complete an Oscars Ceremony BINGO card for a chance to win prizes, including a special one from the Roxy Theater. You even have an opportunity to come dressed in your best for the red carpet photo booth.

BE THERE ON TIME OR RISK NOT BEING ADMITTED!

Doors to the library will be open until 5:15 Sunday afternoon, with the Oscars starting promptly at 5:00 p.m. No entry allowed after 5:15 p.m., so make sure to show up on time.

Attendees must enter from the library’s Main Street entrance. All other doors will be locked. You can check out a few more details on the library's Oscar Watch Party page here.
