A Viral Video Shows Clint Eastwood in an Unexpected Montana Location
Every month, a group of friends and I have a movie night. This month's film was Martin Scorsese's The Color of Money (1986). In case you haven't seen it, it's about Paul Newman guiding Tom Cruise through the world of billiards hustling.
The reason I bring this up is that 12 hours after watching the pool movie, I was fed a video of Clint Eastwood playing pool in Great Falls, Montana.
The Montana Historical Society posted the video of Norma Smith interviewing the great Clint Eastwood after Smith was honored by Governor Greg Gianforte this week with the Spirit of Montana Award.
"Governor Greg Gianforte and Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras today recognized Norma Smith in Great Falls with the governor’s Spirit of Montana award for her career, dedication to service, and her contributions to Montana’s communities," said a press release from the Office of the Governor via email.

The Instagram post shows Norma interviewing Clint, and the very first question she asks is what he is doing in a pool hall in Great Falls, Montana.
Eastwood was on set for the movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot back in the 1970s.
"Oh yeah, local guys. Most of them hang out and come in here occasionally," Eastwood said about whether the extras were local guys.

I have never seen Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, but it has been added to the watchlist. I'll report back when I watch it.
