Missoula’s Spirit Halloween Has Your New ‘Yellowstone’ Costumes
Since it is finally September we can start talking about Halloween. Candy has been in the stores for a couple of weeks. It's the one time of year where you can be anyone you want. Now is the time to start officially planning for your costume.
Missoula's Spirit Halloween is Open
Missoula's Spirit Halloween location, at 1212 Longstaff, is open and has a large variety of costumes to choose from again for the season. Every year when I visit the store I like to ask about the current costume trends. Don't be surprised if you see a lot of Deadpool and Wolverines out there this year. I spoke with Melanie, who works at the store, about what trends they are seeing this year.
Deadpool and Wolverine are popular right now. The Wolverine claws are going fast.
This will be Spirit Halloween's 22nd season. It has become a generational story. According to Melanie, there are employees working there now who grew up going to the store when they were kids.
This year the theme for most of the animatronic displays is "Carnevil" with scary clowns, puppets and more. The Corpse Bride display is another popular choice this year, from the 2005 Tim Burton movie.
Official Yellowstone TV Costumes
There were a couple costumes that I found entertaining, yes you can get some official Yellowstone TV series costumes. They have both "Beth" and "Rip" costumes. It's your chance to dress like a character from the Montana-based TV show, Yellowstone, while living in Montana. Granted Beth's character doesn't dress like she's from Montana, with those fur coats. Feel free to pick up the costume version for Halloween. Also if they don't have your costume yet, check back as the shipments of costumes will keep coming.
It's the time of year to plan your hijinks and get ready to have some fun, Halloween will be here before you know it. Take a look below at last year's hot Halloween costume ideas.
