You Won’t Believe Where Montana’s Most Underrated Buffet Is—Hint: It’s Not Missoula or Billings

With the high price of groceries these days, it may be attractive to eat at places that offer buffet-style dining. When it comes to all-you-can-eat restaurants, Montana has some quality choices.

We lost one of them recently. Missoula's HuHot location closed down back in 2023. There was hope that the establishment might open again in the future. That won't be happening now, since the building burned down last month.

At one time, Montana was also home to Golden Corral, one of the most popular buffet restaurants in the country. Currently there aren't any locations left in Montana.

There are a few different buffet-style restaurants still available in Montana. Missoula offers up the China Buffet, where you can get an all-you-can-eat selection of Chinese food and desserts.

Billings has Carverss Brazilian Steakhouse, which offers a variety of cuts of meat that are sliced off of skewers at your table, along with a salad bar and buffet.

There is one Montana buffet-style restaurant that has flown under the radar-until now. According to Mashed.com, they have ranked the most underrated buffet restaurant in every state and Montana's is in Butte.

Silver Bow Pizza Parlor, according to Mashed.com, is Montana's most underrated buffet restaurant in the state.

Silver Bow Pizza Parlor has been operated by the same family since it opened as a Village Inn Pizza in 1969, according to their website. They are known for being a part of the Butte community, which is one of the attributes mentioned by Mashed.com in their ranking.

I haven't had the chance to eat at the Silver Bow Pizza Parlor yet, but I will add it to my list of eateries to try in one day in our amazing state.
