Montana Just Unveiled a Sleek New Griz License Plate
Montana should have its nickname changed to the "Land of 10,000 License Plates." I have lived in several states and have driven through plenty more, and I haven't seen a state with more license plate varieties than Montana. There are the plain blue ones, the rainbow Montucky-looking ones, Griz plates, Cats plates, Glacier National Park plates, plates with moose on them, plates with elk on them, and plates honoring the Missoula Carousel.
It's like a sentence out of a Dr. Seuss story.
Now, Montanans have another license plate design. It's a new Griz plate, too.
There it is in all its glory. I like the black background with the white lettering and just the splash of maroon on the plate. This design will look crisp on any black or white car, in my humble opinion.
Plus, proceeds benefit the Grizzly Sports Association.
"For the first time in 15 years, the Grizzly Scholarship Association License Plate has a new look! Head on down to your local Montana DMV and pick up the new Black GSA Plate. Proceeds from this plate directly impact all Grizzly student-athletes," GSA Director Coleson Randall texted.

Come to think of it, I am in search of a new car (unfortunately), so I may have to get my hands on the sleek, new black Griz license plate.

Here's my best ad read impression: "Rep the Griz and help recruit the next great athlete to the University of Montana by acquiring the new GSA license plate today."
