It's a busier season than usual for Montana Grizzlies Football. Thanks to the way the calendar lays out, the Griz will play 12 games with 7 hailing from Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Next year will even be busier for the University staff with 12 games 8 at home. So you have plenty of opportunities to catch the Griz in the next two years.

A tough non-conference slate highlights this year's schedule. The first four weeks feature two teams ranked and in week five a team hovering just outside of the top 25 in Eastern Washington.

This year's schedule has plenty of great games to check out, but we are missing a rivalry. There are no Idaho Vandals on the schedule this year, so the Little Brown Stein will make a multi-year home in Missoula for now.

Per usual, the team over the hill will bookend the regular season in Bozeangeles. The regional rivalry with the Red Turf team returns to Cheney this season as well.

One game will be played in a dome, one game will be played on ESPN 2, and four games will be played under the lights. The four night games won't please Head Coach Bobby Hauck.

It all starts on August 31 with a primetime black out game. Make sure to wear your black attire, because I'm not talking about having too many drinks before the game. That's the bad kind of black out.
