The NFL Draft concluded last week with one Montana Grizzly drafted, Junior Bergen.

Now, the Canadian Football League has taken center stage, with two more Montana Grizzlies taken.

 

Keelan White Drafted #3 Overall

 


 

 Former Griz Wide Receiver Keelan White was drafted third overall in the CFL Draft Tuesday night to the Ottawa Redblacks. White played from 2019-2024 for the Grizzlies in 67 games. The Canadian racked up 161 receptions, over 1800 yards, 14 touchdowns and holds the record for longest reception in program history at 97 yards VS Sacramento State in November 2023.

Last season, the Redblacks finished 9-8-1 and lost 58-38 in the East Semi-Final against the Toronto Argonauts.

 

Hayden Harris Drafted Round 2, Pick 11

The British Columbia Lions dipped into the Grizzly pool in the 2nd round, as well.    

 

 

 


Harris spent 2 seasons with the Grizzlies after transferring from UCLA. His senior season concluded with an All-Big Sky team nomination and with a Team Defensive MVP.

Over his 2 seasons, Harris played in 29 games, racking up 84 tackles, 21.5 TFLs, 1 interception and an impressive 11.5 sacks (9.5 his senior season).

British Columbia finished 9-9 last season and lost in the West Semi-Final against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
