Staying healthy is important, we all know that. But, it can also prove to be a very difficult task for people who are always on the go.
Making time to fit a workout in can be especially tricky for working parents as well. When they're done with a long day's work, they shift to parent duty and begin taking care of the kids with any obligations they may have, you know... like eating dinner.
Montana Workers Are Built Differently
The other night, I had the pleasure of witnessing Montana 6-man football for the first time and I was shocked at the versatility and athleticism these kids put on full display.
My co-worker, who was commentating the game with me on 560 KMON, pointed out that a lot of these kids spend as much time working on the farm as they do on the football field.

Thinking about all of the hard work that farm and ranch workers put in got me wondering: "How comparable is working on a farm or ranch to getting a workout in the gym?"
Working On The Ranch or Farm? Call It A Workout!
I gathered information from the National Federation of Professional Trainers, University of Vermont, Indeed, and several other fitness and ranch sources to compile ten farming/ranch duties and what muscles are being worked out in the process.

If you're working in the ranch or farming world, don't feel bad for missing the gym because of work, you're probably hitting more muscle groups than you realize.
