Get your boots, busted leather jackets, and oldest Social D shirt because this summer, the punk rock gods are hitting the Wilma. Yes, you read that right,  Social Distortion is returning to town on Monday, June 23, 2025, and if you’ve ever karaoke-ed a version of “Ball and Chain” through a cheap PA, you know this show is gonna ruin your week in the best possible way.

Mike Ness and the gang are still hammering away at that signature mix of punk, blues, and just being unapologetic. They’ve been at it since ’78. While most bands fade out or get soft, Social Distortion just gets louder. This time, they’re hitting the road with Plague Vendor, which should get the circle pit thoroughly warmed up before Social D takes the stage.

The Wilma is the ideal place for this kind of mayhem. Intimate, loud, historic, and elbow-to-elbow with people who still have cassette tapes and know how to start a pit without a TikTok tutorial.

Doors open at 7 PM, the show starts at 8 PM, and tickets go on sale Thursday, April 18 at 10 AM

Tickets are $45–$55, and yes, it’s an all-ages show. This means you can drag your kid with you and finally teach ’em what real music sounds like with plenty of those back-in-my-day stories.

This isn’t merely a concert, it’s a proclamation. Punk ain’t dead. Let's get loud, and let's get weird on a Monday night this summer.

Now, if only I can convince my chiropractor to allow me to go in the circle pit.
