It's almost upon us - the 2022 International Wildlife Film Festival is about to come to Missoula. This year, the festivities are completely in person, after having to hold the festival virtually due to COVID in 2020 and 2021.

(Although there will be a virtual component to the festival for those who can't attend.)

And if you weren't hyped up for the festival's return yet, this new trailer showcasing some of the films should get you pretty excited.

Bears! Elephants! Owls! Bees! They're all here!

The International Wildlife Film Festival is set to take place at the Roxy Theater in Missoula from April 23rd through April 30th. The virtual part of the festival will take place from May 1st through May 7th.

In addition to the movies, here's a quick rundown of some of the other things you'll be able to see at the International Wildlife Film Festival:

- The Wildwalk Parade and Wildfest at the XXXXs on Higgins

- Panels and Q&As with filmmakers and other experts

- Events at the Roxy Garden, UM Campus, the Missoula Public Library, and the Wilma

- An awards ceremony at the Wilma

There's going to be a lot going on, and I know a lot of people are going to want to check it out - so if you're one of them, it's probably a good idea to reserve your spot early. To buy an all-access pass or just to buy tickets to individual films, you can check out the International Wildlife Film Festival website. You can also check out The Roxy Theater's website for more info.
