March 1st marked the first day of Women's History Month in the U.S., with International Women's Day being on Monday, March 8th. March became Women's History Month in 1987 to celebrate the accomplishments and incredible contributions of women in history, to bring awareness to women's rights, and to take action for equality.

One of the Women's Day events happening in Missoula is a collaboration between Conflux Brewing Company and Western Cider for an elegant, locally sourced 5 course meal. Gather your favorite women for a special night out on Monday, March 8th, featuring a special menu by Chef Kayla. The menu features products from Montana's Double K Ranch, Tucker Family Farm, and Western Cider, see below for details of all 5 courses.

We love Conflux because they are locally owned and are a sustainable business that is socially, ethically and environmentally responsible. Plus, the food is bomb and the atmosphere is chill and family friendly. They have a unique menu that includes Bison Meatballs and Lamb Meatloaf, and my friends rave about the poutine. I haven't had any of the beers personally, but I hear those are pretty yummy, too! And I did love that they recently paid tribute to the #FreeBritney movement with a Team Britney IPA.

If you're not familiar with Western Cider, they are just off Broadway, on California street, across from Blue Mountain Clinic. They grow apples in the Bitterroot and use them to make hard cider. Their drinks will be featured in the Women's Day dinner, which will be at Conflux, downtown at 210 North Pattee. Reserve seats for Monday by calling 926-3589 asap.
