Habitat for Humanity Making Face Masks to Support Their Services

When you think of Habitat for Humanity, the first thought that comes to mind is probably about the great work they do in trying to help ensure that everyone has a decent place to live. And, there would be nothing wrong with that answer. They're a fantastic organization that does amazing things for our community. But, aside from helping provide homes to those in need, there's a new project that Habitat for Humanity has taken on.

We're beginning to see places around town require the use of a face mask when visiting a business or using a service. Costco and Mountain Line have already made masks and face coverings mandatory. When the Clark Fork River Market opens later this month they'll require you to wear one as well. It's possible that other stores/services might follow the same path as we make our way through the next few months of what is still an unknown future with the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you're going to be required to wear a mask, and you don't have one, you might as well get one from some fine folks that are making them for a great cause. That's where Habitat for Humanity comes in. They're producing masks for purchase with the proceeds going to support their affordable home building efforts. Everyone wins! A mask for those that need one and money to help Habitat for Humanity continue to provide their services.
