Props and good luck to our University of Montana Grizzly football team when they try to rally the campus during "Be the Match."

As part of the National Marrow Donor Program, which finds potential donors and connects them with patients in need, the Griz will be a registration drive in and around the University Center this Friday, April 26, from 8:00 a.m - 2:30 p.m. The team will be joined by the UM Spirit Squad, Monte the Mascot and students from the UM School of Pharmacy.

The guys will be in uniform, encouraging the campus community to "Get in the Game, Save a Life." The program raises awareness of the global need for donors to help people with life-threatening blood cancers, such as leukemia and lymphoma. They are inviting students, faculty and the Missoula community.

There are some age and health guidelines. Registration involves completing a health history form and giving a swab of cheek cells. All the players on the football team have signed up and we hope lots of people follow their lead Friday.
