FREE Party at Missoula Insectarium Before Moving to New Location!

Did you know the Missoula Insectarium will soon be on the move?  The new location will be a larger space and include a tropical butterfly house at the Missoula Fairgrounds.

So what do you do when you're about to pack up and move?  You throw a party, of course!

August 17th will be the Insectarium's final day in their downtown location.  And the final day will include an invite to insect lovers for a Metamorphosis Celebration.  Admission is free for all ages from 10 AM - 2 PM at 218 E. Front St.  

Staff will be on hand to answer questions and allow guests to touch and hold cockroaches, beetles and more.  But it'll be more than just seeing and touching bugs.  Face painting, crafts, activities and more are scheduled!

It's busy times as the Insectarium transitions from their old space to the new.  The Bugs on the Move program starts in the fall as Bug Ambassadors visit classrooms to teach and offer hands-on activities for preschool to sixth grade students.  And among other programs the Bugs and Brews series will start up again in the fall.
