As we get ready for the winter, it's important to be prepared for any situation. A lot of people spend time skiing and snowboarding in the mountains, and they need to know what to do in the event of an avalanche.

That's why Gull Boats & RV and MissoulaAvalanche.org are presenting their Avalanche Awareness seminar at Big Sky Brewing on October 30th. This is an annual event that helps provide information on the dangers of avalanches and rescue techniques, led by instructor Mike Duffy. And, in case you needed extra incentive, this event is FREE to all attendees.

In addition to all that, they'll also be raffling off a BCA Float MTNPro Vest. And, since it's at Big Sky Brewing, drinks will - of course - be available for purchase during the event. It runs from 6 PM to 10 PM on October 30th, and RSVP is requested for this event, which can be done in person at Gull Boats & RV in Missoula or over the phone at 406.549.6169.

Looks like a great idea for anyone looking forward to winter sports this year to attend this one. Will you be checking it out?
