Another concert announcement came through from Logjam Presents today, and this one's especially exciting for the Missoula connection the band brings to the stage: Fitz and the Tantrums will be co-headlining a show with Andy Grammer at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater on Monday, August 22nd.

What's the Missoula Connection Here?

For those who don't know, Fitz and the Tantrums - the popular alternative band who have had hits like "Handclap," "Out of My League," and "123456" - feature Missoula drummer John Wicks as their bandmate.

John Wicks, who also co-owns Drum Coffee in Missoula, has made himself a staple of the community - he worked to deliver free coffee to healthcare workers during the pandemic and even collaborated with another Missoula-based musician, Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament, on some new music.

Fitz and the Tantrums performed at Kettlehouse Amphitheater last summer, and it was a great show that was only enriched by Wicks' Missoula connection - towards the end, the band brought his family out on stage and had a sort of fake pageant for John Wicks.

So seeing them return to Kettlehouse along with Andy Grammer - who you'll probably remember from his hit song, "Honey, I'm Good," - is going to make a lot of people very excited.

Tickets for the show at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater go on sale this Friday, April 15th at Logjam Presents' website. They range from $36 to $50 per ticket, depending on if you want the lawn, reserved seating, or the pit. The show will take place on Monday, August 22nd, 2022.
