Have you ever been out to the precious 9 Mile schoolhouse during the holiday season? Ohmygosh, you must! Especially if you have kids, it's like those perfect, snowy Christmas events you see on Lifetime movies, no kidding. I loooove the holidays, this stuff is so my jam.

What's the 9 Mile Schoolhouse?

It's located in Huson, about 25 minutes northwest of Missoula, at 18815 Remount Road. The property serves as a variety of different indoor and outdoor venues for events from weddings to weekend getaways. But during the holidays, it's 100% Christmas magic!

Enchanted Christmas Village

This year's Village will be open to the public on December 4th and 11th, both Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families can enjoy caroling, lunch, craft vendors, a bonfire, Santa photos, writing letters to the North Pole, a country train, and so much more!

There will also be a 21+ fundraiser on Saturday, December 11th from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tree Lighting Celebration

Enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas tree lighting this Saturday, November 13th at 5 p.m. with refreshments, music, and cozy firesides. Attendees typically donate $5 per person for this event.

Who will it benefit?

In addition to the amazing memories your family will make and cherish for many years, you can also take joy in knowing that you are helping Montanans who may not be having the best season ever. Missoula's new Meadowlark Family Housing Center will be the recipient of proceeds from all of this season's 9 Mile Schoolhouse events.

The awesome family who puts on these events is still accepting donations for the silent auction and craft vendors. If you're interested in offering an auction item or participating with your own booth, please email 5crowphoto@hotmail.com
