A national consortium of digital communications companies are reminding users of digital devices…phones, personal computers, i-pads etc that today is National Digital Maintenance Day, commonly known as NDMD.

The major digital services supplies will be conducting maintenance on all digital lines, commercial and personal. Users are advised to cover cellphones, laptops, PCs and digital e-readers with some sort of dust mitigating cover between noon and 6 p.m. (EST) today, April 1 - a handkerchief, dish towel, just something to keep the dust from contaminating nearby devices will work.

NDMD officials also recommend that cellphones be removed ahead of time from purses, backpacks etc because of the possibility of over-inflation.
