Knowshisgun was reported missing by the YCSO on Monday (6/13) after she was last seen in Billings Heights in the early hours of Sunday, June 12.

The medical examiner reported "no sign of foul play," and evidence suggests the cause of death was drowning, according to the press release. No official cause of death will be confirmed until the results of a toxicology report return from the lab.

The Sheriff’s Office investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have information about Ms. Knowshisgun’s activity as recently as this past Sunday or Monday, and has not already spoken to law enforcement, please contact the Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office at 406-256-2929.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday (06/15) morning. The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office does not suspect foul play, however, the investigation will be treated as though it were a homicide until a cause of death has been determined.
