We've seen so many places around town have to be shut down over the past few months. Some for good, others for a few weeks. Some because they had an employee test positive for COVID, others out of precaution for public safety, still others because they were shut down by the Missoula City-County Health Department.

That's just the world we live in now, where a place may be closed for a bit while they regroup and return later on. Now, we've gotten word that the Boys & Girls Club of Missoula County has had to temporarily shut down their Bonner location after a club member tested positive for COVID-19.

All of the other Boys & Girls Club locations will continue operating, and the Bonner spot will be subject to a deep clean by its staff. Their plan is to be closed at least until the end of this week, and they'll be revealing within the next couple of days whether or not they'll be closed next week, too.

Of course, Missoula City-County Health Department recently updated their COVID restrictions and case numbers continue to rise throughout the city and the entire state of Montana. Will that be enough to flatten the curve and finally help bring this pandemic to an end?

That remains to be seen. But hopefully, we'll be able to get back to normal relatively soon, I won't have to keep writing stories about places around town that are shutting down, and maybe we can even all go out to a concert again. Man, that'd be nice.
