Courageous Missoula Dog Braves Brennan’s Wave [VIDEO]

When we took our cameras out to film some footage of downtown Missoula last week, we could not help but notice this beautiful dog that appeared to be (correct us if we are wrong) an Australian Shepard getting wet and wild while his owner was surf kayaking on Brennan's Wave near Caras Park.

Harnessed with a life vest, this dog was as cool as a cucumber near the dangerous waves. Darting back and forth on the rocks closest to the surf was a bit nail biting for us to watch, knowing full well that our own untrained dogs would likely be swept up by the current. Yet it appears that this dog knows a thing or two about how to keep its wits about him, along with a sense of balance.  It's an impressive sight.

And when the time was ready to head back to shore, the dog didn't hesitate to balance itself on the kayak so that he or she could be brought back to land in style.
