You had us at goth. Missoula will host a Haunted Prom for Halloween month, which (witch?) is ideal for those who missed prom because of the pandemic or just never went in high school. Or, maybe you just like Halloween parties!

Haunted Prom will be at the ZACC on Friday, October 22nd, with doors at 7 and prom starting at 7:30. Possessed, poltergeist, traditional witches and ghosts, goth, however you decide to dress, it's gotta be more fun than uncomfortable, stuffy prom dresses and tuxes huh? Expect entertainment from Missoula's goth DJs spinning spooky tunes, live performances from local bands "Spirit Hotel, chilling indie rock that will haunt your heart, and The Cleaning Crew, the scary-good hip hop duo who’ll bring the house down with their dynamic flow."

Tickets are just $10 and on sale now online. The ZACC is downtown at 216 West Main and the party is in the big Show Room. The ZACC Show Room serves beer, wine, cider, and seltzer along with non-alcoholic options. Attendees will be carded at the door and although the party is all ages, I would say the target audience is 18 and over, little kids wouldn't have much fun at this one. Masks are required but obviously not when drinking.

Other fun Halloweenie stuff we're into includes carving Pumpkins for the Pov, checking out overnight ghost hunts at the Old MT State Prison, creeping around spooky places, and taking the kids to see decorated houses.
