In Missoula there was snow

And the kids hoped to play

So they decided to go

To the library on Sunday

Because the library would hold,

Oh what fun they would produce,

The kids got out of the cold

To celebrate old Dr. Seuss!

That's my attempt at writing a Dr. Seuss-style rhyme, and it's probably not nearly as good as his stuff, but I think it gets the point across - this weekend, you can celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss at the Missoula Public Library!

This is happening on Sunday, March 1st from 2 to 4 PM - here's the info from their Facebook event page:

Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with stories, crafts, snacks and a whole lot more! This program is sponsored and facilitated by the America Reads/America Counts program at the University of Montana and by Missoula Public Library. Parents must be present. Party held in the Children’s Department. 2:00-4:00 PM

Will you be taking the kids to this one?
