Car – Bicycle Accident in Downtown Missoula

At about 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, an unidentified female driving a Mercedes Benz struck a bicyclist in downtown Missoula.

The collision occurred on Owen Street, just outside the east entrance of St. Patrick Hospital. The victim was reportedly trapped under the car until police and ambulance, along with medical personnel from St. Patrick Hospital arrived to assist.

Unconfirmed reports say the victim sustained a leg injury, and was transported to nearby St. Patrick Hospital.

Investigation into the accident was underway as of 6:00 a.m.
