Businesses That Are Open at Southgate Mall

Yesterday, we shared the news that Southgate Mall was reopening. Things will look and feel a little different for a while as many stores remain closed. It's up to the individual tenants of the mall to decide what their approach to opening will be. You'll also find reduced mall hours, less tables and chairs, no couches to lounge on, and multiple hand sanitizer locations.

While some stores remain closed, others are excited about opening the doors again.

How comfortable do you feel about going to stores again? Are you ready to jump back in? Are you feeling a little uneasy about so many people passing through one area, with some taking precautions like masks and some not?

We posted the news of Southgate Mall reopening to our social media pages yesterday and saw that some of the comments were people wondering what stores would and wouldn't be open. We had comments like "nobody will be open." We had a store employee saying their employer would remain closed until their corporate leadership made a decision. And we won't leave out the mention of a celebration one poster had for the fact they'll have access to Hoagieville cheese fries again.

The overall feeling from social media reactions was that nobody really knew the details about which stores would and would not be open. Thankfully, Southgate Mall posted a complete list to their website yesterday.
