Greetings from The MOOSE Morning Show! (It's hard to believe I've been around this joint for 26 years.) I'm always honored that you've spent part of your day with 94.7 The MOOSE. We try really hard every day to capture the best of the Gallatin Valley and for me, that means waking up at 4:30 am and heading downtown to our studios. After living in the Valley for 30 years, Bozeman never gets dull. Sure, it's a lot bigger than when I was in college at Montana State but it's never been 'dull'. If you ever come across something you think I should know about, don't hesitate to reach out. Could be a new band I need to hear or a new restaurant you think I should try. I'd love to hear about it. You can always call the studio at (406) 587-0951 during the MOOSE Morning Show from 6am to 10am. If you'd like to reach out via email, no problem. Just send an email HERE. I really do check my email and will address any issues you might have. Suggestions, questions and comments are always welcome. Really. -Michelle

Craving History? Montana’s Top Historic Hotel Properties Across The State
For a state that was founded in 1889, Montana has a surprising number of cool and historic hotels for those who love 'a little funky' in their travels. One thing that historic hotel buildings usually have in common is excellent locations. They had to be at the center of their towns way back when, so they're typically in prime locations to this day.
The Most Stunning, Bluest, Rocky Mountain Lake Is 140 Miles From Montana Border
As far as beautiful, high-mountain lakes with almost crystal-clear water go, Montana and Wyoming give each other a run for their money. You'll find several good contenders in both states, but we thought we'd lead some folks OUT of Montana to this gem of a lake.
Montana Hotels Are Desperately Trying To Save Money By Removing The Basics
The skimping that's going on in Montana hotels is getting ridiculous. From big things like not maintaining their pools and hot tubs, to small conveniences like pads of paper and laundry bags - we're all noticing, and we don't appreciate it as your guest.

An Amazing Amount Of Montana Can’t Be Seen On Google Street View
There's far more to this Street View situation than the logical statement of "well, there are tons of places in Montana that don't have streets". You know, huge chunks of wilderness and stuff. That certainly contributes to the lack of street view mapping, but it's not the whole story.
This Tucked Away Montana Ski Area Is One Of The Most Loved In America
"Cows are fed - Time to shred" is on their t-shirts. It's been around since 1936 in the Montana county that out-of-staters regularly mispronounce. As the oldest ski area in the state, this stunning piece of 640 skiable acres has perfected the art of gathering local love. It's a fascinating rabbit hole to go down when reading reviews, comments, and messages about the ski area that started out so many years ago as "King's Hill Ski Area".
Don’t Mess With Montana Women Because They Likely Have A Weapon On Them
I'm not referring to the ubiquitous Swiss Army multi-tool, but most of us have one of those too.
Reactions To The Chinese Spy Balloon Over Montana: Shoot It Down?
Montana, and the rest of the country, is freaking out about this Chinese spy balloon that's been hovering overhead for the last few days. Rightfully so. The cost of living in Montana is driven by the cost of housing. What about getting a good job that INCLUDED housing? Montana companies desperately need to fill some positions so they're willing to offer free or very low-cost housing options that come along with the gig.
5 Best Made In Montana Cheeses That Will Make Locals Proud
I find it odd that Montana isn't known more for its dairy products. This state is home to some of the finest cheeses that money can buy. Clean air, healthy cows, and talented artisans make Montana cheese something worth exploring.
Montana Beware: Bozeman Folks Are Moving To These 5 Montana Towns
Bozeman residents are on the move - but they're trying very hard to stay IN Montana. Some people can't afford housing in the Bozeman area, others are simply not interested in the rapid growth that has taken over the Gallatin Valley.
