Apparently Montana Is 2017’s 4th Best State For Singles
As one of the only single DJs in our radio family, it's not really a surprise that my boss chose to send this statistic to me. I'm just surprised my mother didn't send it to me first!
Recently WalletHub released a report on the best and worst states for singles in 2017. According to the site, more than 45 percent of all U.S. adults are single. Which honestly seems crazy because I seem to ONLY run into guys who are either married or in a relationship. The struggle is real...
Here's what the site's goal is:
To help unattached Americans improve their chances of finding love, WalletHub’s data team compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 23 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from “share of single adults” to “movie costs” to “nightlife options per capita.”
And here's the results for the state of Montana:
Dating in Montana (1=Best; 25=Avg.):
- 3rd – Gender Balance of Singles
- 4th – Restaurants per Capita
- 2nd – Movie Theaters per Capita
- 26th – Crime Rate
- 14th – Unemployment Rate for Single Population
- 11th – Average Beer & Wine Price
- 29th – Movie Costs
Hopefully with numbers like these, single Missoulians will have better luck finding a "love connection" this year! Haha I mean it's not like we can get any more single right?!
