Heroes get remembered, but actors who appear on James Corden's late-night talk show to deliver rapid-fire reinterpretations sports cinema's most memorable stories never die.

Zac EfronAnna Kendrick and Adam Devine, who star in the upcoming Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, tapped into their inner-Rocky Balboas on the Late Late Show for a seven-minute full-sprint through film's most popular athlete epics. Between Bad News Bears, Field of Dreams and The Sandlot, there's little pigskin-tossing and home run-hitting left to the imagination, but the real magic comes when Corden dresses up as Ali Larter straight from Varsity Blues' infamous whipped cream bikini scene. If only James Van Der Beek had been around for a quick cameo...

"We're not doing that scene," Efron tells the show's host, who seems disappointed, in the video above. "We cut this bit."

"Right, it's still a treat for the ladies, isn't it?" Corden concedes before quickly changing for Chariots Of Fire's slow-mo reimagining.

Oh, and everyone dresses up as Looney Tunes characters for a Space Jam dance number scored to 2 Unlimited's "Get Ready For This," if you're actively seeking material for a series of fever dreams. Kendrick as a blown-up Tweety Bird is an image that will take more than an Ambien to forget.

Check out the full segment, and be sure to see Mike and Dave in theaters on July 8.
