Only a couple of days into December and I really feel Missoula is already in the holiday spirit. People in this town are friendly all the time, but there's a certain giddiness and warmth that is unique to this time of year. To make the most of this season, I go all in. I listen to Christmas music, watch Christmas movies, eat peppermint, and attend holiday events. Here are holiday events in Missoula to feel jolly:

Meet Santa's Reindeer

Friday, December 9th from from 5:00PM to 7:00PM enjoy a hot chocolate and see the adorable reindeer outside of Scheels in Missoula. The reindeer will be located outside so dress warm for maximum merriment.

 Drink and Draw with Krampus

Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30pm-7:30pm at Western Cider "Krampus will be handing out coal pencils to the folks who were occasionally or consistently naughty this year" meaning everyone who attends, according to the event's website. Cider and art, sounds like a good time to me.

Free Present Wrapping Stations

Saturday & Sunday, December 17th & 18th at the Zootown Arts Community Center during regular business hours you can wrap your presents with some company. Beats doing it at home hiding from your family, right?

Ugly Sweater Contest

December 18th, 2022 at Flipper's Tavern Grill Casino starting at 8pm, there's an ugly sweater contest and an open-mic stand-up comedy event. Sign up for one or both at 7:30pm.

A Christmas Musical

See Harry Connick Jr’s The Happy Elf at the Missoula Community Theater, see all the dates, showtimes and buy tickets here.
