It's a new month, which means there's a whole lot of new special programming coming to Missoula's Roxy Theater. And that includes the return of a series that couldn't finish out its run a couple of years ago...

Roxy Confidential Makes Its Triumphant Return

Back in March 2020, the Roxy had a great month planned of classic film noirs, but it only got to play one or two of the movies before the theater had to shut down due to the pandemic.

So now, two years later, they're finishing what they started, and bringing the series back with some all-time greats! Here's what's on deck:

Wednesday, March 2nd - Double Indemnity in 35mm

Wednesday, March 16th - The Third Man

Wednesday, March 23rd - The Maltese Falcon in 35mm

Wednesday, March 30th - Sunset Boulevard in 35mm

Movie Cult Saturdays Return

Every month, the Roxy puts it to a vote on social media to see which cult movies should get their own special screenings on Saturdays. And for March, the winners were...

Saturday, March 5th - Galaxy Quest

Saturday, March 12th - The Burbs

Saturday, March 19th - Chinatown

Saturday, March 26th - The Outsiders

The Beginning of a New Series

In March, the Roxy will begin a new monthly series called Out at the Roxy, showcasing the power and pride of LGBTQIA+ artists and stories. To kick things off, they're starting with one of the greatest action films of all time, from trans filmmakers Lana and Lily Wachowski.
